Open Evening 2021
Updated 2 September 2021
Message From The Principal
Dear prospective pupils and parents,
We always look forward to welcoming prospective pupils and their parents to Nottingham Girls' Academy.
After a year in which this was not possible, we are delighted to announce that we will be once again be holding an Open Evening on Monday 27 September, from 5pm to 7.30pm.
We invite you to come and explore our school buildings, meet our staff and learn about the NGA curriculum, pupil support and personal development opportunities. There will be presentations from the Principal at 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
You can read more about us by looking through the electronic version of our prospectus which is available here.
Virtual Open Day Video
Last year we created a Virtual Open Evening Video to try to give you a flavour of what we are about and what usually takes place in the school. We thought we would leave it on here for you to have a watch if you are interested. I hope you find it useful (and please don't be put off by my incredibly wooden performance!)
I would like to thank Craig Pye for his time and energy in producing this for us.
I would also like to thank Jas Pye and Andrew Traylor for their help in taking and compiling photographs for the video.
What The Pupils Say
We also recorded some short clips of pupils talking about what they like about Nottingham Girls'' Academy and what they remember from their first few days here.
Finally, we have tried to make sure the information on the rest of our website is up-to-date and easy to navigate, and I would encourage you to explore it to get an idea of our ethos, curriculum, the opportunities on offer and policies.
The application form you need to complete depends on where you live (NOT where the school is).
Links to the forms for residents of Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire are below.
The national deadline for applications is midday, 31 October 2021.
To help you understand how pupils will be allocated places at Nottingham Girls' Academy, you can see our admission policy here.
We sincerely hope to offer you a warm welcome to NGA very soon!
Principal, Nottingham Girls' Academy
